If Ajax loses, the players can cry openly on the pitch. They can admit that they didn’t play well, and then slouch off home where they can snivel their way through the replays. They quickly pull themselves together and get back to training
If you’ve got Parkinson’s, you can’t cry too long or admit your complaints and ailments. And, you certainly shouldn’t snivel your way through The Final Stage on the internet. You do need to pull yourself together – but there’s no such thing as a football pitch, so in stead they’ll send you to mindfulness.
